Strategic Design of Integrated SBCC Programs

A communication strategy is a plan that outlines how an SBCC program plans to achieve its goals and vision. The actual steps for designing an integrated SBCC communication strategy are not different from a vertical program. However, there are important considerations throughout the integrated design process that may differ in detail from a vertical program. This section highlights those considerations and addresses key concepts, including formative research, program goals and objectives, target audience(s), message design and communication approaches and channels that may be unique to an integrated SBCC program.
