Design and conduct quantitative baseline research or conduct a secondary analysis of existing research, such as Demographic and Health Surveys or Malaria Indicator Surveys to establish baseline measures of knowledge and practices for future comparison, and to quantify the extent of knowledge, attitudes and practices as well as the demographic characteristics of people who do and do not currently practice desired behaviors.
